The Risk Management Analyst role supports the Regional Risk Manager in all aspects of the enterprise-wide risk management program for the North American Region. Responsibilities include facilitating the identification of risks throughout the organization through the development, reporting and monitoring of risk management issues as well as developing and implementing methodologies for the assessment of risks throughout the organization.
Assure organizational compliance with all risk policies through regular risk exposure monitoring and reporting.
Assist with the Identification, research, evaluation and resolution of risks impacting the operations.
Assist with all aspects of operational risk management including: supporting the process for level 1 controls; completion of second level controls review with all process and risk owners, effectively challenging first level controls, identifying gaps in controls as well as developing and monitoring of action plans.
Assist with the identification, research and reporting of operational incidents and losses to local management and group risk management;
Assist with the execution of the risk mapping process, as well as the monitoring and reporting of the risk mapping results.
Assist with the development, analyses, tracking and reporting of risk metrics for the North America Region.
Assist with the ORSA process though the execution of risk related activities and analyses including portfolio review and stress testing.
Liaise with Internal Audit to ensure that all open items are addressed in a timely matter.
Provide support for all department projects.
Provide support for risk reporting
Develop and maintain working relationships with process and risk owners.
1 – 3 years of insurance and or risk management experience.
Superior spreadsheets skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, in particular MS Excel and MS access
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance, International Business and/or Risk Management preferred.
