Armour Risk Management Inc. is a Bermuda based insurance management and service company providing a full range of claims services. As the result of recent growth, we are currently seeking candidates to fill the role of Actuary in our Philadelphia, PA office.
This is primarily a reserving role focused on US entities and their State reporting obligations. In particular supporting the performance of the regular reserving and certification of these entities, and contributing to the development of ORSAs and similar reporting together with required planning analyses and projections.
To effectively manage regulatory submissions and reserving for various entities across multiple jurisdictions under the group’s ownership and produce information for the various boards of directors and senior management across the group.
Undertake the quarterly actuarial reserving reviews including AvE analysis and annual year-end reserve reviews, including work in relation to Technical Provisions for assigned legal entities.
Provide inputs and produce modelling to support required capital calculations.
Produce reserve and risk reports to support calculations and provide guidance on capital implications for the business.
Support on the production of various ORSAs or similar reports and provide Actuarial inputs for these.
Be involved in the wider capital project; including embedding an understanding of capital implications within the underlying business units.
Produce and test reserve risk parameters.
Provide support needed for internal and external parties as part of the year end reserving and reporting process.
Produce MI, such as business forecasts, as required for key stakeholders and senior management and finance.
Carry out claims analyses to determine underlying trends claims activity.
Assist as required in potential acquisition due diligence projects.
Provide ad hoc actuarial analysis as required by the global actuarial team as required.
