The Risk Management Analyst assists the Risk Manager with assessment and transfer strategies, compiling underwriting information, managing allocations, and administering a Risk Management Information System. The position reports to the Risk Manager and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Essential Functions include:
Day-to-day interaction with insurance brokers’ staff and Alsco field locations on the issuance of outbound Certificates of Insurance and Bonds.
Prepare complete underwriting submissions for Property and Casualty Programs, domestic and foreign.
Work with outside vendors and IT systems to track assets and collect loss data.
Work with Risk Management Team on analysis of risks, financing, hazards, and overall strategy.
Calculate and allocate insurance premiums, brokers’ fees, and other items to locations worldwide.
Serve as System Administrator for RMIS, including loading of data, design, dashboards, and reporting features.
Review loss provision adjustments and audit premiums for insurance programs.
Assists with verification of binding of insurance policies.
3+ years of experience performing duties similar to those listed above.
Microsoft Office proficiency with a specific emphasis on advanced Excel/VBA.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Aptitude for innovative technology solutions.
Demonstrated initiative and the ability to be productive without close supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
