The Business Loan Center Loan Review Officer II is a full-time career opportunity based out of our corporate headquarters in Lancaster, PA.
Responsible for the evaluation of Small Business borrower relationships to determine the accuracy of the Underwriting and Risk Rating; compliance with Fulton Financial Corporation policies and procedures; compliance with governing regulations. Responsible for providing input and identifying issues for consideration by their supervisor and Loan Review Director regarding the review activities.
Review of assigned Small Business borrower relationships and evaluating support for and accuracy of the underwriting and assigned rating.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Credit policies and regulations.
Develop and document the support for the conclusions reached during each review.
Participate in a quality assurance review of the Loan Review work product.
Develop and maintain a complete understanding of all relevant Fulton Financial Corporation policies and procedures that impact upon the review of Small Business borrowers.
Complete assigned continuous review activities for assigned Affiliate Banks, complete documentation of the review results, providing input and identification of issues for the required reports to the management of the Affiliate Bank.
Ensure the accuracy, depth of analysis and completeness of each review.
Complete all activities in accordance with the required deadlines.
Identify the need for and recommend changes to policies and procedures that impact upon the Loan Review function and Credit Risk Management.
As required, participate in the familiarization of Management Trainees with the Loan Review process.
Act as a coach for new team members.
Perform the assigned responsibilities with little or no additional guidance from the supervisor or Loan Review Director.
Bachelor degree (Required)
Master's Degree or equivalent experience. Specialty: Accounting, business administration, or finance. (Preferred)
5 or more years Loan Review or Small Business or Commercial Credit Underwriting. (Required)
5 or more years Demonstrated ability to read and interpret business and individual tax returns. (Preferred)
Bank Administration Institute Loan Review (Preferred)
Risk Management Association Credit Risk (Preferred)
