The Insurance Associate works within the Insurance Compliance department and will be assisting in the analysis of insurance information received from borrowers to proactively identify insurance deficiencies.
The Insurance Associate will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Receive and collect insurance information from third parties (insurance agents/brokers).
Ensure complete and accurate insurance information is sent to appropriate departments within the company.
Communicate and follow-up with insurance agents and Underwriting Analysts for additional information when needed.
Remain in contact with both internal clients and insurance agents/brokers.
Insurance file maintenance.
Insurance Broker’s License is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the insurance industry, specifically property coverage knowledge.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Hard working, a quick learner, detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment.
