GTS, GWBO & Leasing Compliance for EMEA are looking to hire a VP Level associate to join our team. We have end to end responsibility for the execution of the Enterprise Compliance Program related to four Level 3 Enterprise Risk Hierarchies (ERHs).
GTS offers a suite of products and services, including Payments and Receipts, Commercial Card, Liquidity and Trade Finance to wholesale clients. Global Leasing offers Loans & Leases and BAMS Merchant Acquiring services. GWBO is the operational support team for the business areas.
What will your main responsibilities involve?
Responsible for the effective execution of Compliance Policy requirements associated with all products handled by GTS
Area of coverage includes end-to-end oversight of product management, where there is a regulatory nexus for GTS business activity
Serve as key contact for assigned coverage area to provide subject matter expertise, and coordinate support across multiple compliance resources, including all branch presence countries
Support the assessment and implementation of regulatory change, training and policies, adequate compliance monitoring and testing, and support the timely identification and remediation of compliance risk issues as necessary
Support activities with appropriate reporting and communication to key partners, including regulatory agencies as appropriate
Build and maintain independent compliance oversight of business
Exercises discernment and influence senior business managers and peers to ensure implementation of compliance programs, balancing business strategy with appropriate controls
Promote the culture of Compliance and ensures the identification and timely mitigation of compliance risks
Documenting & updating procedures
What skills and qualifications will you ideally possess?
Ideally degree educated, or meaningful vocational qualifications, or equivalent experience
Consistent track record with experience in either transactional banking business, support and / or a risk & compliance environment on a global banking institution
Sound communication and interpersonal skills, including prior experience with change management and/or learning roles
Prior transaction banking business experience, including product development, operational controls implementation, and risk management, will be critical
You will be a great teammate
