We are currently looking for a Risk Management Analyst to join the Thales team in Arlington, VA.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and collection of insurance data to complete applications, specification and data requirements for insurance quotations both at the group and local level. Work with business unit personnel to obtain necessary data for renewals. Partner with local brokers in negotiations with insurance carriers.
Coordination of insurance certificates for all entities and Auto ID cards with broker and BU personnel
Management of various data such as; property statement of values, auto schedule etc.
Assist in the review and approval insurance billings and assist in the preparation allocation of insurance charges to business units.
Assists with the collection of status on all bids for the GCRM report.
Assists with managing the portfolio of all bids requiring insurance related analysis; consolidates list and status of bids on the GCRM.
Assist in the reporting of claims to insurers or TIRM/Carriers depending on group or local procedures
Manage the collection of claim reports from various insurance carriers for Risk Management review
Work with Business Units to gather claims data for reporting when necessary
Assists with pulling loss control reports from the carrier website, creating lists of recommendations for review by Risk Management Director.
Assists with the collection of status updates from the business units on the open recommendations. Assists with revisions of Thales HSE/BCP/Security Policy & Procedure within Chorus 2.0
Assists with revisions, conversions, and updating of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) from Chorus 2.0 to Team On Line (TOL)
Coordinates HSE/BCP/Security Training Curriculum Management through Team On Line and the Country HSE Portal and Group HSE Web Site.
Required education and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of strong working knowledge in the areas of property and casualty insurance operations preferable with an insurance agent or broker.
An undergraduate degree is preferred but relevant experience in property and casualty insurance is accepted.
Knowledge of Risk and Insurance Programs
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project (or similar project management program) at an intermediate level. (i.e. including pivot tables etc.)
