The Business Analyst will be responsible for transforming the organization into a culture where data enhances decision-making. This role will ensure business needs and goals are met through analysis and reporting activities. The Business Analyst will empower business leaders with concise, high-quality information, helping them leverage it to identify and address business opportunities and threats.
Building relationships with team leadership and business units across the organization to identify high impact areas for reporting and analysis, and implement analytical and reporting solutions that accelerate data-driven decision-making.
Developing a deep-understanding of the broad range of data sources within the organization, and seek mechanisms to make data-comprehension common across the organization.
Collaborating with leadership to develop a coordinated data strategy including platform choices, common reports to generate / build into tools / automate, and meaningful mechanisms/processes for improving data and visualizations available for decision making and strategic planning.
Designing and delivering KPIs and other reports for a broad range of stakeholders that support leadership in measuring success and driving strategic decision making.
Analyzing and interpreting complicated large-scale data from disparate systems to identify trends and/or patterns.
Developing metrics, dashboards, data tables and fact sheets for new reports and analytic tools. Developing the communications to socialize, refine, and gain acceptance of recommendations, as well as monitor results.
Mapping business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
Identifying customer behaviors in targeted areas.
Identifying gaps in data collection and collaborate with all internal business units to capture data specifications.
Ensuring a consistent and efficient set of information and metrics permeates all levels of the supported business unit across the enterprise.
Leveraging a data-driven approach to problem solving.
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field required.
Years of Experience:
5+ years of relevant business intelligence and analytics experience is required. Internships do not count towards the 5+ years of experience.

Critical Thinking: Business analysts must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
Attention to Detail: Data is precise. Business analysts have to make sure they are vigilant in their analysis to come to correct conclusions.
Math Skills: Business analysts need math skills to estimate numerical data.
Experience with analytical and database software, such as Tableau.
