Reporting to the CRO, this position will lead the Risk Review, Analytics and Reporting function. In this role, the incumbent will contribute to the development and implementation of tools, systems and analytics that support the measurement, analysis, research and reporting of risks across all risk categories (Credit Risk, Market Risk including Liquidity and Funding Risk and Interest Rate Risk, and Operational Risks) for the Wholesale Banking and Trust lines of business, as well as the Finance and Operations divisions. The Risk Review, Analytics and Reporting function will also act as the independent oversight (2LOD) for all market risk taking activities of the Bank, including liquidity and funding risk, interest rate risk for the banking book, and investment management, as well as the Quality Assurance Review function for all credit transactions (Credit Risk Review). Additional functions to be under the leadership of the incumbent include risk modelling, validation and vetting, stress testing and scenario analysis, economic capital modelling, ICAAP and RAROC modelling. The incumbent will leverage data and technology to dynamically generate portfolio and market analytics. It will contribute to the ongoing development of a leading risk management program, including risk data aggregation, analytics and reporting (RDAAR), to support Concentra’s business activities, including treasury management, and the evolution of Concentra’s strategy and business imperatives.
We are looking for candidates with a graduate degree in Mathematical Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or other quantitative discipline and 2-5 years of experience in an analytics/quantitative research role in a financial institution and/or as a risk consultant to the financial institutions industry.
