Lead and develop Credit Risk Management IWM UK, including team of credit officers and credit control officers/analysts.
Support sustainable growth of the credit book in line with the strategy of IWM while optimizing credit risks.
Manage credit book, consisting of standard and structured Lombard loans, commercial and residential mortgages and plain-vanilla derivatives.
Ensure continuous optimization of credit- and credit-related procedures and processes, risk control tools and IT systems, in daily business and through lead in projects.
Manage and develop the human capital, by defining minimum standards/requirements for team members (including technical competence) and setting up of performance relevant objectives.
Solution-oriented collaboration and/or oversight in the structuring of complex Lombard or Real estate transactions for UHNWI/HNWI clients in conjunction with CLS.
Ensure a comprehensive and professional analysis of credit requests, prepare credit applications and renewals for approval by higher competence levels, and approve up to delegated approval authority, in line with Global Credit Policy, group-wide credit policies, local policies and regulations.
Proactive management of risks incl. timely identification of positions at risk and undertaking of appropriate actions.
Vice-Chair the local Credit Risk Committee, provide updates at the CS UK Risk Committee and Board of Directors meetings, and ensure close interaction and professional communication with CS UK senior management, CS UK Board non-Executive Directors as well as senior business partners.
Facilitate implementation of local and group CRM projects, including setting of appropriate implementation priorities and appropriate staffing. Continuously reviews and optimizes existing CRM policies, processes, risk control tools and IT systems, and supports optimization of front-to-back processes.
Ensure continuous and timely credit risk monitoring and internal/external/regulatory credit risk reporting and control requirements.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure active exchange with CRM IWM internationally located credit teams on all CRM relevant topics.
Keeps local credit policy updated and implements internal audit points and action tasks.

You Offer She/he will develop credit structures acceptable to the front while protecting the bank, supported by:
A degree in economics or finance (or equivalent work experience).
A track record as credit risk manager with solid commercial experience of credit risk management or credit analysis experience.
Good knowledge of the needs of UHNWI clients, including but not limited to security backed lending, real estate financing, derivative instruments, and its related credit risk aspects as well as documentation in relation to IWM business.
Obtained Certificate of Mortgage Advice and Practice ("CeMAP") (or successful completion within 3 months after start date).
You will build effective partnerships through excellent communication and presentation skills.
Understands client's needs thanks to work experience in front related IWM area in an international financial services group (advantageous).
Track record in managing people allows to reinforce the team.
Strives to improve the organization in an effective way on the back of project management skills.
Brings knowledge of local laws and regulations applicable to IWM lending .business to ensure full compliance of the CRM activities.
