This position is responsible for designing, developing, and managing physical risk assessment; security processes to limit robberies and internal theft; vehicle safety programs; cyber security and is a key member of the Loomis senior management team. The SVP, Risk Management position will work with other departments to develop strategies to support the company’s risk management objectives and is expected to demonstrate strong business acumen and "street smarts", contributing proactively at both the policy and tactical level, while collaborating effectively across the company. This position reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Theft Risk Mitigation - The SVP Risk Management will be responsible for designing processes to reduce losses related to internal theft and errors. Once those processes are in place the SVP Risk Management is responsible to develop audit processes to identify weaknesses and recommend solutions.
Vehicle Safety – The SVP Risk Management will be responsible for developing safety programs that will lead to improved vehicle accident results for a fleet of 3,000 vehicles.
Analytical and Problem Solving Skills - Analyze multiple data points in order to detect risk trends in a timely manner. Demonstrated ability to work independently and make complex investigation decisions.
Team - The SVP- Risk Management will be responsible for building a world class risk management team. This individual will be responsible for evaluating, coaching, driving, and hiring top talent to make their vision a reality.
Motivation & Goal Setting - The SVP Risk Management is responsible for meeting or exceeding portfolio loss objectives as established by the Company’s President.

Must have proven track record of risk management leadership and experience for monitoring, tracking, and managing risks to ensure long-term protection of stakeholder assets with a minimum of fifteen (15) years risk management experience.
A demonstrated track record showing the design of risk management architecture including preventing fraudulent activities, vehicle safety, workers compensation management, contract risk management, and insurance procurement.
Excellent individual problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to communicate well across the entire organization is required. Proven team leadership and collaboration skills required, along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
An undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, marketing, management, or related field required with a Master's degree preferred.
