-Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate subject matter area
-15+ years in a Leadership position managing direct and indirect teams
-10+ years in Fortune 250 Risk management with proven track record of developing strategies that meet the objectives described above
-Proven financial planning and analysis, accounting, cash flow, cost recovery, contract development, and negotiation skills
-Demonstrated leadership skills and effective interaction with a variety of organizations including insurance brokers and underwriters, operating management teams, and functional support organizations
-Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills and effective communication skills both written and oral
-Strong knowledge of financial laws, contract law, insurance law, and risk management policy
-Strong understanding of the current economic environment and its impact on insurance companies
-Experience with mergers & acquisition, and a track record of being a key part of due diligence teams
-Approximately 10% travel
-Extensive experience within the Aerospace and Defense Industry
-Strong technology background either working within the function or a background in engineering
-Familiarity with basic actuarial concepts
-Professional accreditations such as an MBA, CPA, JD, PE, CPCU, or CRM
