Business Performance and Advisory Services at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) is actively seeking a full-time permanent Risk Advisor who is responsible for the advisory and analytical services for the Risk Management Institutional Insurance and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs at KPU. This requires assistance and advisory functions in the development of processes, procedures, policy and solutions in the identification, assessment and subsequent treatment of university strategic and operational risk. This position reports under the Division of Finance and Administration and is located on our Langley campus.
Reporting directly to the Manager, Operational Risk, the Risk Advisor will directly contribute to the overall enhancement and awareness of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and related Risk Management programs across the institution. The Risk Advisor will perform tasks that require a considerable amount of confidentiality, sensitivity, initiative, and independent judgment with regards to regular review through incident and claims management and in the identification, assessment and mitigation of Financial, Human Resource, Reputational, Operation, and Safety / Security related risks. This position will support the development of practices, policies and programs that will enhance the overall risk profile of KPU.

The salary range for this position is $63,247 to $73,341 / year.
