Identify and assess risks to Seagate by participating in internal risk assessments, monitoring internal and trade publications, benchmarking with industry peers and attending meetings sponsored by professional organizations
Identify insurable risks and manage the purchase of appropriate levels of insurance to keep those risks within the company’s risk appetite
Ensure Seagate risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards and strategy of the organization.
Manage relationships with service provides including brokers, insurers, TPAs and other groups linked to risk management
Work closely with legal team to review and recommend appropriate insurance terms in contracts
Provide oversight on claims and loss control activities
Facilitate the identification of, and report on, the top risks to the company in support of the Enterprise Risk Management program
Become a subject matter expert in the structure and contractual requirements of Seagate’s e-commerce Gateway and Processor. Develop and implement structural changes to meet the business’ changing e-commerce activities.
Co-manage and mentor a risk analyst whose resources are shared with Stock Administration.
Maintain the integrity, architecture and administration of insurance programs purchased by Seagate worldwide
Develop Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks.
About the Group:
Seagate's Risk Management team is based at the corporate headquarters in Cupertino, California. The business and insurance activities are part of the broader financial risk management group within the Treasury operations of the company

Your Experience Includes:
Corporate risk management experience preferably within a large multinational manufacturing organization or insurance service provider.
Experience maintaining the integrity, architecture and administration of insurance programs
Experience Identifying and assessing risk by participating in internal risk assessments
Experience in insurance market trends and coverage alternatives
Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience
