The Sales Executive, Washington is responsible for aggressively driving new third party administrator (TPA) business to York / CareWorks Comp across the state of Washington to achieve financial growth targets. This includes following York’s strategic sales processes, cold calling, developing a pipeline of direct and broker-generated opportunities, working with sales leadership and proposal management to respond to RFPs, helping to implement marketing campaigns for new business growth, maintain a knowledgeable understanding of the competitive landscape and CareWorks Comp’s service offerings. This role is highly strategic and is expected to participate in the development of our association and business partnerships, along with the growth of WA operations.
Build the Group Retro programs footprint in Washington State through aggressive sales to corporations and public entities both through direct sales and industry brokers and consultants
Develop and maintain a territory pipeline through networking, cold calling, enabling strategically targeted marketing, attending association/industry events, and prospect meetings.
Achieves annual financial sales targets for TPA growth in Washington state
Consult with WA employers on their worker's compensation rates with Dept. of Labor & Industries L&I, safety issues and overall risk management programs to drive best outcomes and rebates
Identify prospects, attend meetings to present CareWorks’ offerings, provide proposals as requested and close new business
Develop and maintain Broker and Association relationships to leverage pipeline development, new sales growth, and build a brand name in WA state
Populates all prospect organizations, opportunities, contacts, and activities into Salesforce.com (CRM) and maintains current data on all opportunities and contacts.
Respond promptly to any RFP requests for Washington state prospects and coordinate and participate in all orals finalist presentations
Develop and maintain a pulse on the WA market and an ability to strategically analyze our position to deliver top sales performance
Maintain regular communications with Director of Sales and participate in all requested internal meetings and training
Facilitate client onboarding and implementation directly with client services team and claims operations
Present at conferences, trade shows and continuing education seminars for prospective employers and clients
Cross Sell Efforts with York national sales team and other lines of business within York.
Expected to work with Director of Sales to facilitate marketing campaigns and webinars to generate prospect interest
3-5 years sales experience in the Washington market for insurance, risk management or worker's compensation industry working directly with Washington Department of Labor and Industries (L&I)
References that demonstrate achieving annual sales growth targets for the past two years
Must be a self-motivated sales professional, with solid time management and communication skills, excellent communication skills, able to successfully operate in a remote capacity
Consultative Sales Background with strong references and history of demonstrated success
Experience in direct Account Client Relations Management preferred
Experience with SalesForce CRM preferred
