We are looking for a highly motivated Business Continuity Management specialist to join our team!
Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Risk Management, the Manager - Business Continuity Management (BCM) is responsible for leading & driving IMCO’s Business Continuity Management program. The BCM Manager will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand critical business operations & enable the organization to withstand different internal and external business interruption risks facing the organization;
As a Member of Our Team, You Will be Responsible To:
Lead / drive / manage IMCO’s Business Continuity Management Program
Facilitate ‘Business Impact Analysis’ (BIA) exercises & advise the business on design of risk mitigation strategies;
Identify critical business operations, and unique risks / single points of failure (ex: examine dependencies on & BCM capabilities of 3rd parties) that could cause an extended business disruption or crisis;
On an annual basis: > Collaborate with IT (and other stakeholders) to coordinate annual BCM & Disaster Recovery testing; > Maintain / review effectiveness & completeness of departmental BCM plans, as well as IMCO’s Incident Management Plan;
Develop and track BCM-related key risk indicators to monitor trends in the organizations' risk profile;
Participate in the development of policies, protocols and procedures;
Promote a positive risk management culture and partake in BCM education / training sessions
Produce analyses, reports or presentations that outline findings and recommendations
What do you need to succeed?
Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant business continuity management certification is preferred;
5 years of experience in business continuity management
Outstanding presentation and communication skills (oral and written) in English, with the ability to interact confidently with all levels of management (strong relationship management skills);
Strong project management, analytical and technical skills and ability to create value-add solutions for clients;
Highly driven, autonomous, resilient team player with a strong work ethic and proven track record of delivery
Ability to analyze and process information and develop practical solutions;
Knowledge and understanding of service expectations and business strategy;
Commitment to impartiality, ethics and integrity;
