Reporting to the Enterprise Operational Risk Manager, the key objective of the role is to provide Line 2 Risk oversight by coordinating risk reviews, assurance and risk reporting in Cbus' Investments Division.
The role involves working with the Investment's Risk and Compliance function, front office and middle office teams to ensure that operational risks are identified, assessed and that risk mitigation plans and strategies are in place. The incumbent will also work closely with the Enterprise Risk Management team in developing and implementing the Fund risk management strategy. The role will require knowledge and experience in Investment Operations and risk management requirements of a financial services organisation.
You will ideally have Investment Risk and/or Internal Audit experience gained within a financial institution or professional services firm; and be tertiary qualification in a finance, business or related discipline. You will be a lateral thinker with strong problem solving, persuasive skills and an ability to grasp abstract concepts and complex situations; while having excellent communication skills, and the ability to initiate and lead conversations with senior stakeholders.
