Position Overview 

This is a permanent, full-time position outsourced to Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) within the Risk Management Group of JLL reporting to the Director, Insured Claims. This position has global responsibilities and is tasked with reporting on and managing claims as well as the administration of the claim management programs and processes for JLL and its subsidiaries, including LaSalle Investment Management (LaSalle).

Responsibilities

• Manage JLL and LaSalle global insurance policy claim reporting, investigation and disposition
• Serve as a resource to defense attorneys and business managers during the litigation process
• Assist in the preparation of responses to litigation discovery
• Coordinate and attend business unit claim reviews
• Approve reserves and payment of casualty losses

• Serve as a resource to business units and management with a focus on claim management and cost containment

• Develop procedures for business unit claim reporting and handling

• Organize and participate in quarterly claim calls with insurers and safety professionals

• Prepare claim and loss data where needed for safety committees and business groups

• Provide technical support for complex claims

• Assist with preparation of claim and loss data for insurance renewal purposes

• Support and participate in Safety Committees

• Provide claim data for assets during the sale process
