The Associate Risk Manager develops, recommends, and administers various risk management programs, including managing Delek’s contractual risk transfer programs, captive, along with specialty insurance, and master insurance programs, to maintain maximum protection of the corporation’s assets at the most economical rates. This is a key role that requires a thorough understanding of the insurance and risk management implications of Delek’s current operations and initiatives.
Envision, design, implement, document and track overall Risk Management departmental processes and systems so they are delegable and sustainable.
Manage and audit internal and external colleagues associated with risk management and insurance programs to ensure adherence to process flows, achievement of deadlines, and forward movement on initiatives.
Envision, design, and implement an organization wide contractual risk transfer process including roll out of template insurance requirements for contracting use comply with the company’s contractual risk management philosophies and practices. Develop insurance risk assessment, and procurement playbooks and provide training on the same.
Act as primary contact for business partners in resolving and addressing insurance related questions, and risk management contractual review.
Provide subject matter expertise in the area of risk and insurance matters involving mergers and acquisitions, loan covenants, and vendor contracts, including the negotiation of insurance clauses proposed in contracts.
Conduct detailed research and analysis on insurance coverage related matters.
Act as the primary contact and facilitator in managing Delek’s insurance broker relationships, and captive administration, lead open issues meetings, track progress on open projects and renewals.
Collaborate with Insurance Managers in the management of the insurance related financial operations of the Department including budgeting, forecasting, premium allocations, captive operations, invoice payments and collateral programs.
Collaborate with Insurance Managers in the maintenance of policy files, certificates of insurance, insurance audits, loss reports, and other insurance related documentation.
Assist department in the design and implementation of reports and presentation materials to management.
Requirements- Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities
Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Experience.
5-7 Years of Corporate Risk Management, or Property Casualty Brokerage, or Insurance Company Experience.
Command of Microsoft Suite, Especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Analytical skills and an eye for detail
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication.
Ability To Work Cross-Functional and Maintain An Effective Working Relationship With Other Groups Including Human Resources, Safety, Accounting, Operational Management And Legal.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively and be flexible
Master’s Degree In Business Administration or Finance
ARM Or CISR Designation Or Comparable Designation
Lean Six Sigma Or Comparable Designation
Prior Experience with ISNetworld, EBIX or comparable vendor certificate management systems
