The Sr. Ops Specialist supports the effective implementation of enterprise level First Line of Defense programs at the line of business level-Interact with Card Operations and Card Services teams to support new account onboarding and maintenance processes and serve as subject matter experts on control function.
Key Job Function:
Interact with internal and external risk management teams including but not limited too Internal Audit, External Audit, SOX Program Management Office, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, etc.
Represent Card Operations in new project initiatives with a focus on risk identification and control creation
Perform Quality Audits for Global Card and Merchant Services Operations
Ensures controls are monitored, audited, and documented according to the company's First Line of Defense risk management framework
Assists in the execution of line of business control measurements
Implement Quality Assurance and QC Program Controls and analyze the effectiveness of controls
Supports effective implementation of BCP, Vendor Management, and PCI compliance programs.
Experience in financial services industry (preferably Commercial Credit Cards)
Credit Card experience in at least one of the following areas: Internal Audit, Regulatory and Compliance, SOX, or Quality Control
Excellent written and verbal communication is imperative
Ability to analyze problems and formulate solutions quickly and concisely
Experience interacting with cross functional teams and upper management
Ability to work tight timelines and lead multiple competing priorities while delivering sound results
Self-starter and well-adapted professional who actively will reach out as needed
Experience working with First Data 3270 credit card system is a plus
College degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft software required (Word & Excel)
Experience in Cognos Report Studio is a plus
