The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the Risk Management function by collecting, organizing, maintaining, and analyzing key data needed for the Risk Management and Legal Functions. The position will support the Director of Risk Management, Risk Manager, Claims Manager and legal department as needed. The Risk Management Analyst will maintain the Risk Management Information System and create and schedule key reports. The role also develops, implements, analyzes, plans, monitors and administers a wide variety of Risk Management and insurance program activities globally.
This position will serve our Corporate Office, located in Atlanta, GA.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Responsible for maintaining Risk Management Information System.
Evaluates the risks of accidental loss through knowledge of the Company’s operations, facilities, human resources and financial structure.
Prepares reports and metrics to evaluate the appropriate levels and types of property, casualty, and management liability insurance coverage to purchase to protect the organization, its owners, and employees and total cost of risk (TCOR).
Assists in the selection, monitoring, and evaluation of insurance brokers capable of providing quality service at a reasonable cost.
Coordinates safety, loss control, and loss prevention services provided by insurers and outside safety consultants supporting the organization’s workplace environmental health, safety, and asset protection programs.
Collects and analyzes product liability and workers compensation claims data. Review and reconcile Third Party Administrator claims expenditure invoices. Coordinate and participate in periodic internal reserve reviews with claims team and external reviews with claims service providers and broker representatives.
Works closely with assistant general counsel on the special handling required for the investigation and defense of litigated or high severity claims. Initiate and draft claims notices to excess insurers, as required.
Compiles and maintains exposure and other underwriting information.
Maintains insurance policies documents and certificate of insurance.
Prepares insurance applications.
Tracks, reviews and reconciles all invoices from insurers, brokers and risk management vendors.
WHAT YOU NEED
Bachelor’s Degree; Business or Risk Management preferred
3-5 years Corporate Risk Management and legal experience in a manufacturing environment
3-5 years of experience working with Risk Management Information System (Riskonnect preferred)
Knowledge of safety regulatory requirements and workers compensation is a plus.
Knowledge and familiarity with electronic data management is a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrates ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
Experience in providing quality internal/external customer service.
Multi-national exposure helpful.
Excellent Knowledge of Risk Management, commercial casualty and property insurance placements preferred
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite. High proficiency with Excel is required.
Demonstrates ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.
