In collaboration with Academic Directors, faculty members, and SMEs (Subject Matter Experts), the Risk Management Academic Director will research existing and emerging risks to create curriculum that is current, innovative, and practical for presentation in The National Alliance’s premier international risk management education and designation programs.
Developing and writing risk management curriculum and related content materials including:
Course outlines and notebook materials for live and online classrooms
Interactive course exercises, knowledge checks, and assessments
PowerPoint and other visual presentations
Multi-media materials for webinars, podcasts, etc.
Researching risk management subjects for inclusion in course curriculum, whitepapers, The National Alliance’s Resources Magazine, and other industry magazines and publications
Writing articles and whitepapers for The National Alliance’s Resources Magazine and other industry magazines publications
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience with training, training development or curriculum development.
Expert level risk management knowledge and practical risk management experience
Advanced research and writing capabilities
Experience collaborating and working with SMEs to develop relevant, practical, and technically accurate content
Thorough understanding of copyright and trademark rules for content and graphics
Mastery of computer skills (Microsoft Office products, Adobe, and other computer-based training and design software)
Strong written, presentation, and communication skills
Goal and objective focus with the ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently deadlines
Hold a National Alliance designation (CIC, CRM, CPRM, CSRM) or other risk management designation
Bi-lingual, Spanish and English, a plus
Telecommuting is allowed.
