To serve as a pipeline and vetting process of college talent for the organization
To enable students to experience work/business situations within the insurance industry
To expose the intern to key facets of agency operations, roles and relationships
Work with Internship Team to schedule time with individuals in each department of the organization to expose the intern to key facets of agency operations, roles and relationships
Complete online learning assignments in McGriff University to complement hands-on experience in the office
Complete project work as assigned by individuals in the organization
Update internship tracker and complete weekly meetings with manager and Learning & Development team to process events of the week, prepare for the next week and discuss any skill or knowledge gaps and how to address them
Present a capstone presentation (e.g., project results, lessons learned) to key managers, senior leaders and learning team partners at the culmination of the internship
Internship opportunities may be available in any one of our 10 offices.

Full-time student at an accredited college/university
Rising junior or senior
Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
A major in insurance and risk management, business, marketing or sales
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Innovative, analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Planning, time management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Other job-related skills as required by the division/line of business requesting the intern
