As the Director of Risk Management with Liberty Diversified International, you will develop, recommend and administer risk management and loss prevention programs to maintain maximum protection of the organization’s assets.
This full-time position reports directly to the VP & General Counsel and is located at LDI’s headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Ensures corporate–wide compliance with safety legislation, industry practices, and market requirements
Develops risk minimization programs
Analyzes insurance needs and secures optimum coverage for protection of physical assets and employees
Investigates and reports on incidents, administering claims and adjustments
Liaison with appropriate insurance and regulatory representatives
Responsible for crisis and contingency planning
Manage budgets and loss reserves
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
10+ years related business experience
Risk Management/Insurance experience
Knowledgeable in risk and insurance principles and concepts
Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements
Adept at financial risk analysis
Ability to manage contracts
Understanding of organization, facilities and products
Associate in Risk Management (ARM) Preferred
