Insurance Management/Purchasing, Property and Casualty, Risk Management
The Specialist is responsible for supporting key areas within the risk management function which handles the Company’s centralized company-wide property/casualty insurance program and related risk management activities
Manage the worldwide property insurance program including all aspects of the annual renewals, property claim adjustment and recovery, property loss control engineering services, broker service team performance, premium allocation, and international program.
Manage all aspect various marine insurance programs including hull, builders risk, marine liabilities, and various others. Additional responsibility includes a workers' compensation insurance program for certain marine operations.
Provide key support on other insurance programs, principally aviation and executive risk including underwriting submission preparation, international placements, and premium allocations.
Coordinate various business unit activities including responding to inquiries, contract reviews/compliance, certificate of insurance requests, and training/webinar efforts.
Education & Training Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management/Insurance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or other relevant designations/certifications preferred.
Minimum of seven years of experience within a large public company risk management function and/or relevant insurance brokerage environment is required.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Strong computer skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working with RMIS
Ability to travel
