The Role Responsibilities
Support the senior leadership of the ERM and Stress testing teams in identifying and delivering ongoing improvements to the Stress Testing operating model, including process improvements and opportunities to leverage technology where relevant
Support the Global Head Stress Testing in identifying new or changed business requirements for Stress testing models and ensure that these are effectively communicated to the relevant Model Managers and Model Owners for prioritisation and action.
Manage enterprise wide stress testing delivery/ projects; liaising closely within the Enterprise Risk Management team and across risk/ finance functions i.e. Scenario Design, Finance, Treasury, Market Risk, Pension Risk, Operational Risk and Conduct Risk.
Lead the planning and coordination of specific EWSTs and other management stress tests, ensuring that appropriate plans are in place, which adhere to relevant policies and standards. Ensure that plans are proactively tracked and monitored and issues identified early. Resolve issues and problems with delivery of stress tests at a working level as they arise, escalating where necessary to achieve a satisfactory outcome
Track and manage remediation of issues for projects wherever possible or otherwise ensure appropriate escalation in a timely manner
Support the senior management in providing succinct and meaningful updates on projects to key stakeholders
Maintain the ongoing ST Model plan
Ensure information recorded in the Group Model inventory is complete and accurate for Stress Test needs
Coordinate and track delivery of the ST Model plan, identifying issues and wherever possible engaging with Model owners and Model Managers to remediation or otherwise ensure appropriate escalation.
Ensure Stress Test model needs are represented at relevant model working groups
Act as secretariat for Model Risk Expert Panels
Coordinate the preparation of ST model risk responses to the PRA
Engage with governance committee scheduling teams to track and monitor committees, attendances.
Oversee scheduling and attendance of EPs for any EWSTs being project managed
