OUR CLIENT, AN INTERNATIONAL SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE COMPANY IN FULL GROWTH WITH A DYNAMIC AND ENTREPRENEURIAL CULTURE IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING.
The incumbent will be responsible for the company-wide insurance program, including claims management and the loss prevention program, the implementation of a business continuity program and the development of risk appetite statements for all their international plants and offices.
Conduct annual reviews of schedule of insurance policies, including review of renewal policies and making recommendations.
Assist the Director of Risk Management with data necessary to the annual analysis and report of transferable risk.
Manage all data collection necessary for the purchase of new and renewal property, liability insurance and other insurance policies and programs.
Develop and maintain a sytem for timely and accurate renewal and updating of all insurance policies as well as recording losses, claims, insurance premiums and other risk related to costs.
Maintain financial projections to adequately budget for insurance policy costs.
Maintain oversight of all incidents and claims that affect property, liability and other insurance policies. Respond to incident reports and maintain internal system of documentation and make recommendations for loss prevention programs, property and cargo.
Make recommendations to the Director ERM when higher limits or additional coverage may be necessary.
Oversight of Global Emergency Response Plans to ensure standardization, completeness and testing of plans.
Monitor critical international events that may have impact on business continuity and employee safety (i.e. natural disasters, political unrest, ...).
Assist in conducting risk assessment, mitigation strategies and develpoing Business Continuity Plans.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Risk Management.
10 years relevant experience with a medium to large company with experience in insurance, risk analysis, integration and implementation of enterprise risk programs.
Demonstrate proficiency of commercial lines insurance coverages, policy forms, underwriting and claims submission management processes as well as ERM framework.
Ability to understand insurance contract language and to evaluate Certificates of Insurance et policy documents/forms to assess coverages and exclusions.
Strong planning and organizational skills and prioritize projects under changing demands and meet critical deadlines.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and maintain a high level of diplomacy.
Experience in managing large insurance programs and issues, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated interpersonnal skills and ability to interact with group of diverse individuals at all organizational levels both internally and externally.
Telecommuting is allowed.
