The Role Responsibilities
The Business Risk Manager represents the Wealth Management business as a first line of defence, implements the Standard Chartered Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF), and supports the Group's Risk policy and associated risk procedures to ensure that front office risks are effectively managed at the business unit level. The Business Risk Manager is to focus specifically on Wealth Management controls, governance, and supervision.
Assist Management in coordinating, driving and directing effective compliance and Operational Risk (OR) management.
Assist Management in implementing robust processes and controls to meet all regulatory and internal requirements.
Ensure proper functioning of day-to-day controls by performing periodic assessment and monitoring activities.
Timely identification, escalation and resolution of risk issues.
Specific knowledge and understanding of the Insurance business.
