Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform regular investment risk reporting on the capital market & alternative asset portfolios;
• Perform checks of regular portfolios risk and performance figures to the investors;
• Perform daily investment and trade risk monitoring (market/credit/liquidity risks) of the portfolios, including portfolio risk management model building, and to verify VaR and tail risks.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for New Product Committee, and perform an independent investment risk evaluations of any potential new capital market investments;
• Perform as PMO/lead of various risk management and data projects, and maintain risk management database on the daily basis;
• Perform regular and ad-hoc investment & risk analysis on multi-asset/markets/events;
• Perform maintenance of the enterprise risk management policies and procedures;
• Coordinate with stakeholders to perform the operational risk management

Educational background Required 

• Bachelor/Master degree in Finance/Mathematics/Risk Management is preferred.

Work Experience Required

• You need to have Minimum 5 years' experience in risk management of Financial Institution, experiences in asset management business or hedge fund are preferred.
• Experiences in Investment bank/Asset management/Financial Risk Consultingd are preferred.  
• Experiences in programming language (Microsoft access and other SQL database) is a MUST, experiences in Python/R/VBA are preferred.

Skills Required

• Excel/VBA, Bloomberg and PowerPoint are the Must, Barra and FactSet are preferred.
• The "Can-do" attitude is a MUST, you need to be able to work independently with multi-tasking;
• You need to have solid understanding of risk management in capital market products and/or alternative asset investments;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill;
• Strong communication skill, you need to be able to explain the complicated risk concepts in a neat and precise way;
• Speaking and writing in CHINESE is a must, fluency in English speaking and writing is preferred
