Monitor and maintain profitability through rate indications, pricing reviews, and the filing/implementation of rate changes and new products.

Develop pricing projections by performing analyses which require retrieving and analyzing appropriate data
Perform deep dive reviews that require analysis of trends, factors, and other data-related issues to answer specific business questions
Analyze and propose changes to existing rating plans and products
Analyze impacts and benefits of new products and rating characteristics
Provide documentation and support for rate filings and statutory reporting
Communicate and collaborate with business partners in other functional areas, including product, finance, accounting, claims, IT, and senior management

Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
2+ years of actuarial/pricing experience
2+ CAS Exams Passed
Strong computer skills with high proficiency in managing data in Excel and Access
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and project skills
Ability to project results, deal with ambiguity, solve problems, make decisions, see trends/patterns within data sets, and identify root causes
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Bachelor or advanced degree in insurance, actuarial science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, risk management, economics, business administration or related analytics-oriented discipline
Experience with multiple programming languages including SAS, SQL, VBA, R, and Python
