About This Internship
Arch Insurance Group’s Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the insurance industry. It provides a learning experience that serves as a foundation for interns to explore their career choices and to develop professional skills across a variety of areas such as Analytics, Actuarial, Finance, IT, Underwriting and more. Working alongside some of the most talented members of the insurance industry, interns will gain relevant expertise in various aspects of the field.
The type and complexity of work will vary depending on the department. The responsibilities and projects assigned will require strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
The program is designed with the following objectives:

Qualifications
The standard qualifications of intern candidates are:

3.0 GPA.

Current college students actively enrolled in an accredited college or university.

College level – Sophomore, Junior, Senior

Interest in Insurance industry or related field
-
Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner.

Team player who collaborates effectively.

Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Location & Work Arrangement

Positions are available in the following locations: Alpharetta, GA, Dallas TX, Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA, and New York City, NY.

You will work 2 days onsite and 3 days from home. The work schedule will be Monday – Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.
Timeline
Arch summer internship positions will be posted from October 2023 – March 2024 and will be unposted when filled. The program will run from June 3rd - August 9th.
Pay
For individuals assigned to or hired to work with Arch Insurance Group, the hourly rate is $22 to$26 as of the time of posting. The higher end of the scale is reserved to accommodate students in specialized programs such as actuarial candidates who have passed exams.
