This is a dynamic role at the heart of SMUD’s efforts to achieve zero carbon by 2030 while maintaining safe, reliable, and affordable electricity service for the Sacramento region. The Enterprise Strategy & Risk team leads SMUD's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program and establishes and monitors SMUD's long-term strategy and annual performance goals. The team works closely with SMUD’s executive and senior management teams and works cross-functionally with all enterprise and business unit levels. Priorities include building transparency and collaboration, communicating strategic and risk priorities and shifts, monitoring industry trends, and tracking SMUD’s progress towards strategic objectives. The team also has an integral role in the assessment of new work proposals.
