Join our team as an analytical resource for County departments, where you'll play a crucial role in insurance management and renewal coordination. Each level in this job series has different minimum qualifications. To participate in the recruitment at the I level, the II level, or both levels, you must complete and submit separate applications and supplemental questionnaires for each recruitment.
As a liaison between Risk Management Division of the County Executive Office and various departments, you'll help limit County liability by monitoring, coordinating, and assisting in liability/program activities as well as investigating, analyzing, evaluating, and monitoring liability claims and insurance requirements.

Requirements:
Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience:
Liability Management Analyst I: One year of professional analytical, budgetary, and/or management experience in an area to which the incumbent is assigned.
Liability Management Analyst II: Two years of responsible analytical experience performing duties similar to a Management Analyst I in assigned program areas with Placer County, including budget development and evaluation.
Training:
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business or public administration, political science, finance, economics, or a related field.
NOTE: Relevant, equivalent experience (performing the same or similar job requiring similar knowledge, skills, and abilities) may be substituted for the required education as determined by the Human Resources Department.
