The Assistant/Associate Director for Risk Management is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the daily activities of the staff, organizing and assisting with ongoing risk management activities, and actively participating in the process in a professional and objective manner. This position is responsible for leadership, administrative, operational, technology, and risk management duties supporting the LSU Health Shreveport administration and departments, and is responsible for implementing and managing a comprehensive risk mitigation program. The Assistant/Associate Director of Risk Management provides risk management consultation or risk management assistance to the LSU Health Shreveport administration and departments.
