The County of San Mateo is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Safety and Ergonomics Manager. The Safety and Ergonomics Manager designs, implements, and monitors the safety and ergonomic plans and programs for the County, informs and collaborates with departments, identifies and evaluates safety and ergonomic needs, assists the County Workers' Compensation Manager with the resolution of issues involving both workers' compensation and safety, develops and presents series of training topics to managers and employees, establishes and updates required policies, procedures, and guidelines, maintains a variety of records, and prepares regular and special technical reports. The Safety and Ergonomics Manager also serves as the County of San
