Job Description The Officer, Enterprise Technology Risk Management will be an integral part of the Enterprise Risk Management function. The position is responsible for identifying, assessing and supporting in oversight of operational and technology risks posed by vendors. The position will provide an opportunity to work across the Company business units and functions.
Job Responsibility
Develop a detailed understanding of the business, the vendor landscape and the operational and technology risks posed by vendor to individual business soliciting vendor service.
Develop a detailed understanding of operational risk due diligence and in general Third Party Risk Management program at State Street
Review and challenge the vendor responses obtained through the Due diligence questionnaires and identify the vendor's ability to manage their operational risks including but not limited to management of operational issues, analysis of loss data, reporting on operational risks, etc.
Collaborating with Business Control Team, Compliance, Legal, Audit, Technology and Cyber teams to form a holistic view of business risks
Providing proactive, insightful analysis and interpretation of operational and technology risks to the First Line based on robust knowledge of the business and a deep and broad external market view on current best practice
Supporting oversight and ensuring that Third party risks are actively managed in line with risk appetite, Supporting oversight of continued refinement and/or development of appropriate controls and ensuring thorough and timely resolution of issues
Supporting and challenging the First Line using superior influencing and negotiating skills to identify, assess and control emerging risks prior to material P&L impact
Supporting in various targeted risk assessments and support in identification of issues
Supporting execution of remediation plans and regulatory commitments as applicable
Experience
2+ years of relevant experience in Operational risk and Technology risk with an understanding of financial services industry
Familiarity with financial services regulatory framework and industry best practices such as ORX standards, BCBS principles, NIST 800-53, etc. would be a plus
Attention to detail and quality deliverables
Understanding of internal control framework principles
Self-motivated and ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, or related field
Advanced proficiency in GRC tool - Archer and Excel, MS Office, and related analytical software with Tableau a plus

Salary Range: $65,000 - $102,500 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
