As part of the Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) team the position holder will support the ART Latin America team in origination, structuring and execution of a broad range of Alternative Risk Transfer Solutions for corporate and public entities, reporting to the Head Alternative Risk Transfer Solutions Latin America.

About the Role:
Your home base will be Miami with lots of collaboration with our offices in Colombia, Mexico, Brasil, New York and Switzerland with the aim to support us in the following:
Support the ART Latin America team in origination, structuring and execution activities
Support the Lead Structurer of leading interdisciplinary deal teams including deal monitoring
Support enhancing our solution offering using data and technology and streamline internal processes
Support in selling and marketing of ART Solutions together with Customer and Distribution Management (CDM) teams to brokers and customers
Develop and maintain professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to Underwriting, Products, Legal and Finance teams, Brokers, Risk, and Captive Mangers
Contribute to the aim that SRCS's ART team is known in the market as a consistent and reliable partner for innovative risk and capital management solutions and thought leadership
In collaboration with CDM, the Underwriting Teams and the Global ART team, contribute to meet financial plan
In collaboration with all stakeholders ensure adherence to Swiss Re Group Compliance and Underwriting standards, regulatory, accounting, tax and legal requirements to mitigate reputational risk

Our global team comprises of professionals with many years of experience and vastly different backgrounds such as underwriting, actuarial, law, marketing and business based in Europe, North America, Asia and Latin America. Our Latin America team has been successfully grown the business and needs you to further support our growth ambitions. We are based in Miami but work closely with our operations in Mexico, Brasil and Colombia you will also get to know. We take pride in being one of the market leaders in our space, won many innovation awards and structured first of its kind solutions.
About You:
We are looking for an analytical, open minded, highly motivated candidate with strong communication skills with the following background:
Ideally Bachelors or Masters degree in Insurance Management, Risk Management, Actuarial Sciences, Law, Corporate Finance or equivalent
Some practical work experience (internships) in the (Latin American) insurance market
Good know-how of traditional and non-standard re/insurance products and markets including underwriting
Demonstration of innovative and adaptive thinking while analyzing data and insights
Good influencing and negotiation skills to drive complex solutions over the finishing line
Excellent team player with the ability to work well in a virtual team environment
English, Spanish and ideally Portuguese language skills
Willingness to travel
