The current vacancy is in the County Executive Office (Risk Management - General Liability) and may be filled at either the I or II level. The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing contracts for appropriate indemnification language and insurance requirements; investigating and managing property and liability claims for settlement purposes; analyzing, evaluating, and monitoring accident/incident losses and trends; planning, organizing, designing, and implementing accident/incident investigation and prevention training; monitoring, coordinating, and assisting in liability/program activities; maintaining record keeping systems for claims and loss statistics; preparing management reports showing loss control program results; and managing insurance policies and renewals.
Minimum Qualifications –
Experience: One year of professional analytical and/or management experience in an area to which the incumbent is assigned.
Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business or public administration, political science or a related field.
