Vendor Risk Management Director
Oakland, California
In this role, you will design, build, and lead the new Kaiser Permanente vendor risk management function of the Vendor Risk and Data Office. Over 38,000 Kaiser Permanente vendors are in scope with over $168B in spend. You will partner and influence leaders across Kaiser Permanente to drive process, policy, and technology changes in how we assess and manage vendor risk.
Qualifications Include:
At least ten years of directly related experience in one or more of the following areas: risk management, compliance and/or auditing, or vendor risk management which includes experience in source-to-pay type processes and controls
At least five years of related management/supervisory experience
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance and accounting, management science, public policy, purchasing and contract management, sourcing, information technology, or a related field
The ability to build cross-functional partnerships and develop strong stakeholder relationships
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Extensive background in managing relationships with cross-functional partners
The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
Preferred Qualifications Include:
Experience in developing new risk and/or compliance and auditing management functions and capabilities within large, complex environments
Vendor risk management experience within a large complex delivery environment
A candidate with a law degree and previous vendor risk management experience preferred
