The Assistant General Counsel for Contracts and Risk Management ensures thorough review of all contracts in which the University is a party and effective risk management for the University by collaborating with key risk stakeholders.  The primary function of this position is reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts with a focus on risks associated with the transaction, insurance requirements and indemnification provisions, as applicable.  Additionally, this role requires thorough identification, analyzing, monitoring, and managing University risks including assisting departments in defining and overseeing the implementation of risk solutions.  Candidate should be able to demonstrate significant experience in contract drafting and review with a minimum of 5 years of legal experience
