The Position Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Risk Manager works closely with all departments, specifically the Chief Human Resources Officer and the City Attorney, to manage the City’s comprehensive risk management program. The Senior Risk Manager plans, organizes, coordinates, and manages the functions, programs, services, and activities of the Risk Management division. This position is responsible for the investigation and management of all notices of claims filed, including public liability and personal injury claims, and sets reserves and makes settlement recommendations, if appropriate.
